Google Buys Phonetic Arts
Mountain View-based Google said Friday that it has acquired Phonetic Arts, a Cambridge, England-based developer of speech synthesis software. According to Google, Phonetic Arts' team is working on creating natural computer speech from samples of recorded voice.
