Nimble Storage Gets $16M More

Nimble Storage
, a developer of iSCSI storage arrays which combine both flash memory and low cost disk drives, said Wednesday that it has raised $16M in a Series C funding round. The round came from Accel Partners, Lightspeed Venture Partners, and Sequoia Capital. The firm said the funding will go towards sales, marketing, and engineering. Sequoia is represented by Jim Goetz on the board; Accel by Peter Wagner. The firm was founded by Varun Mehta and Umesh Maheshwari, both from Data Domain/NetApp.
