Kabam, which develops massively multiplayer, online social games, said this morning that it has raised $30M in a Series C funding round. The round came from Redpoint Ventures and Intel Capital, as well as existing investors Canaan Partners. Kabam is headed by Kevin Chou, who said the new funding will go towards aggressive growth, hiring of engineering and creative talent, as well as towards acquisitions and partnerships. Kabam develops the Kingdoms of Camelot, Dragons of Atlantis, and Glory of Rome social games.
