Plum District Harvests $8.5M
San Francisco-based Plum District, which operates an online, daily deals site focused on mothers, said this week that it has raised $8.5M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, and also included General Catalyst Partners. Aileen Lee of KPCB joins the firm's board as part of the funding. Plum District is led by Megan Gardner.
