AOL Inc. said last night that it is in a deal to acquire
The Huffington Post, in a deal worth $315M. As part of the deal, AOL said it has appointed Arianna Huffington as head of The Huffington Post Media Group, which will include AOL's content efforts, including sites Engadget, TechCrunch, Moviefone, MapQuest, Black Voices, PopEater, AOL Music, AOL Latino, AutoBlog, Patch, and StyleList.
