Vicarious Systems Gets Funding
Union City-based Vicarious Systems, which develops artificial intelligence software for recognizing the contents of images and videos, said earlier this week that it has scored a first round of institutional funding. Size of the deal was not disclosed. The funding came from the Founders Fund, Facebook's Dustin Moskovitz, and former Facebook CTO Adam D'Angelo.
