VideoSurf Catches $16M
San Mateo-based video search site VideoSurf said Friday that it has raised $16M in a Series C funding round. The round came from Pitango Venture Capital and other, un-named strategic investors. The firm said the new round brings its total raised to $28M. VideoSurf, which is headed by Lior Delgo, develops software which recognizes objects in videos and allows users to find content in those videos.
