Trimble Buys Tekla
Sunnyvale-based Trimble Navigation said today that it is buying Tekla Corporation, a developer of building information modeling software, in a deal worth approximately $489M. According to Trimble, the cash deal will have aan enterprise value of $451M. Tekla is traded publicly on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki Ltd. Tekla is based in Espoo, Finland, and has approximately 500 employees worldwide.
