Google Updates Maps For Android
Google said this afternoon that it has updated its Google Maps application for Android smartphones. Google said the new, Google Maps 5.7 release includes transit navigation, updated access to directions, better search results, plus a photo viewer. In terms of the transit navigation, the firm said it now is providing stop-by-stop navigation directions for public transit in over 400 cities around the globe.
