Meltwater Buys IceRocket
San Francisco-based The Meltwater Group, a developer of social media monitoring tools and services, said today that it has acquired IceRocket, a developer of blog and social media search tools. Financial details of the buy were not announced. IceRocket, which is based in Dallas, Texas, will be incorporated into Meltwater's Buzz product. IceRocket's service allows users to search blogs, Twitter, Facebook, and other social sites.
