, a firm developing microbial-based, personalized medicine products for the gastrointestinal disease area, said yesterday that it has raised $5M in a funding round. The round was co-led by Advanced Technology Ventures and Morgenthaler Ventures, and included Wavepoint Ventures, Seraph Group, as well as others. The firm said the funding will go towards further development of its microbiome‐based personalized medicine solutions for gastrointestinal diseases and disorders. The firm is headed by Peter DiLaura.
