Synthego, which develops a synthetic RNA designed for genome engineering, has raised $41M in a Series B funding round. The funding was led by 8VC, and also included AME Cloud Ventures, Elements Capital, OS Fund, Alexandria Equities, ZhenFund, Founders Fund, Menlo Ventures, WI Harper Group, and Max Levchin's SciFi VC, along with other angels. The company said the funding goes towards commercial operations, international expansion, and introduction of new products.
