Google Buys Zagat
Mountain View-based Google said Thursday morning that it has acquired Zagat, the restaurant reviews and ratings publisher. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Google said that Zagat will become a "cornerstone" of its local offerings, offering up reviews, ratings, and insights on its service.
