San Francisco-based
Dropcam, a manufacturer of a Wi-Fi enabled video camera, has raised $5.8M in a funding round. The round came from Accel Partners, as well as angels Mitch Kapor, Aydin Senkut, Ben Narasin, David Cowan, Salil Deshpande, and Bradley Horowitz. Accel's Sameer Gandhi joins Dropcam's board. Dropcam said it will expand its San Francisco engineering team with the funding.
