Federated Media Buys Lijit
San Francisco-based Federated Media, the online advertising representation firm started by John Battelle, has acquired Lijit, a developer of blog widget software and operator of a blog advertising network. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Lijit was venture backed by Boulder Ventures, High Country Venture, Highway 12 Ventures, and The Foundry Group, and had raised around $27M in funding.
