Mountain View-based Friend.ly, a developer of question and answer tools for social networking sites, has been acquired by Facebook, friend.ly said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Friend.ly said its team will join Facebook to focus on new projects at Facebook, but did say that friend.ly will continue to operate as a separate service.
