TagTile Acquired By Facebook
San Francisco-based TagTile, a developer of loyalty management software for local businesses, has been acquired by Facebook, TagTile said Friday. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. TagTile was founded by Abheek Anand and Soham Mazumdar, both of whom are joining Facebook as part of the buy. TagTile said that Facebook is acquiring "substantially all" of its assets, but has not yet set plans for its technology. As part of the acquisition, TagTile said it will discontinue accepting new users to its service.
