Couchbase Gets Investment From NTT Docomo
Mountain View-based Couchbase, the developer of NoSQL database software, said today that DOCOMO Capital, the investment arm of NTT DOCOMO, invested in the firm as part of a strategic investment. The firm said that DOCOMO Capital participated in the recent, $15M Series C financing round announced in August by the firm. NTT DOCOMO invested $1M of the Series C round, with the firm's venture investors contributing the remaining $14M.
