GEO Semiconductor Lands $1.6M
Santa Clara-based GEO Semi, a developer of programmable processors used for video and image processing, said Wednesday that it has raised $1.6M in a funding round. The round was split between $1.3M in equity, plus $300,000 of convertible debt. The firm said the equity came from its existing investors. As part of the funding, the firm said it has launched an effort to raised $10M in a Series B round. GEO Semiconductor's eWarp ICs are used to provide multi-camera stitching and other functionality for cameras in surveillance, video conferencing, and other applications.
