Aptina Imaging Acquisition By ON Semiconductor Completes
San Jose-based Aptina Imaging is now part of On Semiconductor, as the $400M cash deal for the company completed, ON Semiconductor said this morning. The acquisition had been announced on June 10th. Aptina becomes part of a new, reporting segment for ON Semiconductor, which includes Aptina Imaging and Truesense Imaging, and ON Semiconductor's existing optical, image and touch sensor businesses.
