Virident Adds $21M
Milpitas-based Virident, a developer of flash-based storage products, announced Thursday that it has raised $21M in a Series C funding round. The round was led by Globespan Capital Patners, and also included Intel Capital, Cisco, Sequoia Capital, Artiman Ventures, and an un-named storage solutions provider. Virident said the round brings it to a total of $50M raised in equity funidng. Virident is headed by Kumar Ganapathy.
