Velomedix Finds $10.2M For Treating Heart Attacks, Stroke
Menlo Park-based Velomedix, which is developing medical devices which use hypothermia to treat cardiac arrest and stroke patient, has raised $10.2M in a Series B funding. Source of the funding was not announced by the company. As part of the funding, the firm said it has named Jeffrey (Jeff) Gold as Chief Executive Officer, and Michael Moore as Vice President of Operations. Gold was most recently a venture partner at Longitude Capital. Moore was most recently at MRI Interventions.
