Nanosolar Gets $20M

Nanosolar
, which is developing thin film, solar cell technology based on printing nanoparticle inks and CIGS solar circuits on panels, said last week that it has raised $20M in a funding round. The round came from current investors Mohr Davidow Ventures and OnPoint Technologies, along with new investor Aeris Capital. The firm said the funding will go towards continued expansion and new projects. Nanosolar is aiming at the utility-scale, solar power market.
