Google Ventures Backs Duo Security
Duo Security, a provider of phone-based, two factor authentication software and services, has raised $5M in a funding from Google Ventures, True Ventures, and Resonant Venture Partners, the firm said today. The Michigan-based firm said the funding will go towards its team, mobile security research, and platform development. Duo Security said its customers include Tumblr, University of Michigan, Central Ohio Primary Care, and Toyota.
