Airbnb Snags Crashpadder
San Francisco-based person-to-person marketplace Airbnb has acquired British room rental startup Crashpadder, Crashpadder told its users Tuesday. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Crashpadder said it has 7,000 hosts in 100 countries and 2,500 cities, who used the site to find vacation rentals and local hosts with rooms, much like Airbnb.
