Tango, the provider of a video chat service which works with iPhones and Android, has raised $40M in a Series C funding round, the firm said this morning. The funding round came from Qualcomm Ventures, Access Industries, Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Michael Birch, Andy Bechtolsheim, Bill Hambrecht, and others. The firm said it has now raised close to $100M for its efforts. Tango is led by Uri Raz. Tango's software runs on Android, iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad devices, and provides both free video calls as well as phone calls and video messaging services.
