The Nile Project, the online travel site operator which operates
NileGuide,
10Best, and
Localyte, has been acquired by New York-based
Travora Media. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Josh Steinitz, CEO of Nile Media, will become part of Travora Media's executive team. Nile Media was venture backed by
Draper Richards, KPG Ventures,
Austin Ventures, and
Tenaya Capital. Travora is backed by
Rho Ventures,
Village Ventures and StarVest Partners.
