Tintri Adds $25M For VM-Aware Storage
Mountain View-based storage appliance provider
Tintri
has bolstered its funding by $25M, led by Menlo Ventures and also including prior investors NEA and Lightspeed Venture Partners. The firm said the round--which was oversubscribed--will go to accelerate R&D and sales operations. Tintri develops storage appliances which are specialized and aware of virtual machines, and are able to optimize and manage storage for those virtual environments. The company has now raised over $60M in funding.
