Spigit Buys Crowdcast
San Francisco-based social software developer Spigit said this morning that it has acquired Crowdcast, a fellow San Francisco develops of social business software. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced by the companies. Crowdcast was venture backed by Alsop Louie Partners and
Menlo Ventures; Spigit is private equity backed by Warburg Pincus.
