Twitter Buys Cabana
Twitter has acquired Cabana, a developer of a mobile app platform. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cabana said its team will be joining Twitter, and it will be shutting down its service as of December 1st. Cabana had been backed by First Round Capital, Lere Ventures, SV Angel, Gary Vaynerchuck, Kevin Rose, Shervin Pishevar, Jack Andys, Tyler Crowley, Alexander Elenski, Philip Kaplan, Dave Morin, Chris Sacca, Mark Silva, and Bill Warner. Cabana said it will be joining Twitter's platform team.
