Silver Tail Systems Acquired By EMC
Menlo Park-based Silver Tail Systems, a developer of web fraud detection software, has been acquired by EMC Corporation, the two said this morning. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Silver Tail Systems was venture backed by Andreessen Horowitz, Leapfrog Ventures, Seraph Group, and
Startup Capital Ventures. Silver Tail will become part of EMC's RSA Security Division.
