earthmine Acquired By Nokia
Berkeley-based earthmine, a developer of 3D, mobile mapping systems for capturing 3D, street-level images, has been acquired by Nokia. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Earthmine said it expects its team to join Nokia's Location & Commerce business. The firm also said that it will remain in Berkeley, and become a key site for development of 3D reality capture technology for Nokia.
