Google Invests $75M In Iowa Wind Farm
Mountain View-based Google said today that it has invested $75M in a 50 megawatt wind farm in Iowa. The equity investment goes towards a project being developed by RPM Access, in Rippey, Iowa. Google said the power from the project is being sold to the Central Iowa Power Cooperative, and brings its total invested in the renewable energy sector to more than $990M.
