Leap Motion Snags $30M For Motion Sensing

Leap Motion
, a developer of motion control software and hardware, said today that it has raised $30M in a funding round. The funding came from Highland Capital and its other existing investors. The firm, headed by Michael Buckwald, said the new funding will go towards scaling manufacturing. LeapMotion has developed highly sensitive 3-D motion-control and motion-sensing technology it says is 200 times more sensitive than existing technology.
