Future Motion, which develops the
Onewheel, an electric-powered board, said this week that it has raised $3.2M in a Series A funding. The funding came from Deshe Holdings, and also included Paul Crandell, plus DSCN Capital, Hallet Capital, and Lighthouse Capital. The company said the funding specifically goes to expand its operations in Santa Cruz, along with shipping more of its products. Future Motion is led by Kyle Doerksen. Future Motion's prior investors also include Rock Point Capital, Urban.Us, Scott Cannon (Mailbox) and Charles Crowe (Quiksilver).
