Ringadoc Gets $1.2M To Handle Patient Calls For Doctors
San Francisco-based Ringadoc said Tuesday that it has raised $1.2M in a seed funding round, led by Founders Fund's FF Angel. Ringadoc is developing a service to help doctors manage patient calls with their smartphone, letting doctors respond to patients as needed, and avoiding issues trying to coordinate with existing telephone answering services. The firm was founded by Jordan Michaels, who says the firm is looking to provide better service than the "1970's era technology" doctors are currently using. The company offers up its service for $50 a month.
