San Francisco-based
PagerDuty, which develops software-as-a-service for managing IT scheduling, schedule management, and alerting, said Thursday that it has raised $10.7M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by
Andreessen Horowitz, and also included WIN Funding, Baseline,
Harrison Metal,
Ignition Partners, as well as
Jesse Robbins (founder of
Opscode">http://www.silicontap.com/intelligence/index.php?action=showco&id=21674">Opscode). The firm said the funding will go towards product and market develpment of its IT incident tracking and on-call management platform, and specifically toward hiring more engineers. PagerDuty's solutions help IT teams manage their on-call incidents, via SMS, phone, and email, helping them manage issue escalation and priority.
