Cherry, the mobile carwashing service headed by Travis VanderZanden, has been acquired by San Francisco-based
Lyft, the firms said today. Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cherry was venture backed by Shasta Ventures, Founders Fund, Shervin Pishevar, and Bill Lee, among other angels. VanderZanden has joined Lyft as its Chief Operating Officer.
