Chute Captures $7M For Mobile Photo Sharing Infrastructure
San Francisco-based Chute, a developer of software to power the photo sharing and social infrastructure for mobile app developers, has raised $7M in a Series A funding round. The round was led by Foundry Group, and also included Freestyle Capital and U.S. Venture Partners. Chute's software is being used to power photo sharing and hashtag features on mobile apps from CNN, The House of Blues, the NBA, Conde Nast, and many others.
