@WalmartLabs Buys Two Companies
In the latest surge for acq-hires over the last few days, @WalmartLabs, the technology arm of Walmart's e-commerce division, said it has acquired two companies, OneOps and Tasty Labs. OneOps is a developer of platform-as-s-service products; Tasty Labs is an application software developer based in Mountain View. According to @WalmartLabs, it will use the acuqisition to add some of Silicon Valley's "brightest innovators" to work on its new products.
