Cumulus Networks Finds $15M For Datacenter Linux
Sunnyvale-based Cumulus Networks said today that it has emerged from stealth, and also revealed that it has raised $15M in funding. The funding came from Andreessen Horowitz, Battery Ventures, Peter Wagner and four of the original VMware founders. The firm said it has developed a full-featured Linux operating system for datacenter networking, currently being used by cloud service providers.
