Cisco Buys Composite Software
San Jose-based Cisco said Thursday that it has acquired Composite Software, a San Mateo-based provider of data virtualization software.
Financial terms of the buy were not disclosed. Cisco said the move would help expand its portfolio of services. Composite's software helps connect multiple sources of data to appear in a single network location.
