Kiwi Lands $9M For Android Games
Palo Alto-based Kiwiup said today that it has raised $9M in a funding round, led by Sequoia Capital. The startup, which is developing Android-based mobile games, also received funding from Omar Hamoui (AdMob), Charles Huang (Guitar Hero) and SV Angel. Kiwi is headed by Omar Siddiqui, and its team includes executives from Trippert Labs, Playdom,
and Disney.
