HootSuite Raises $165M
Social media management tool developer HootSuite announced today that it has raised $165M in a funding round. HootSuite has an office in San Francisco. The company, which is based in Vancouver, said the funding came from Insight Venture Partners, plus Accel Partners and OMERS Ventures, and is the largest deal ever in Canadian venture capital history for a software company. HootSuite provides social media management tools.
