Orb Networks, the developer of the media streaming hardware which connected a user's smartphone to their television, stereo, and more for media streaming, has been acquired by
Qualcomm. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Orb announced it had been acquired by a "large partner" of the firm, without naming names, however,
reports have identified that partner as Qualcomm. Orb is shutting down its services as part of that acquisition.
