Trimble Buys Three Companies
Sunnyvale-based Trimble is having quite a busy day for acquisitions today, saying that it has acquired three companies. Trimble said it acquired IQ Irrigation, a New Zealand-based provider of hardware and software for controlling irrigation systems; Rainwave, a developer of precipitation monitoring services; and
Hydro-Engineering Solutions, an Alabama-based civil engineering company that specializes in hydrology and hydraulics. Financial terms of all of those deals were not announced.
