, which operates a service to help companies crowd source their security and bug testing efforts, has raised $1.6M in a seed funding round. The funding came from Icon Venture Partners, Paladin Capital Group, Square Peg Capital, as well as angels. Bugcrowd runs corporate "bug bounty" programs to help companies find security issues in their websites and mobile platforms. The firm said the funds will go towards sales and marketing, to expand its team, and to support its community of testers.
