San Francisco-based real-time commenting and social tools developer
Livefyre has just announced that it has acquired
Storify, the developer of social content marketing and publishing tools. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Livefyre said it will merger Storify's multiple paid tiers into a single, enterprise offering for its clients. Storify's co-foundes, Xavier Damman and Burt Herman, have joined Livefyre, as have a number of employees from Storify in the area of product, engineering and customer support. Livefyre is venture backed by US Venture Partners, Greycroft Partners, Hillsven Capital, ff Venture Capital, and Cue Ball.
Storify's backers include Khosla Ventures, and the company is also based in San Francisco.
