said this morning that it has agreed to acquire
Enterasys Networks
, in a deal worth $180M. Extreme Networks said it will pay cash for all of the outstanding stock of Enterasys. Enterasys Networks is a developer of both wired and wireless network switches, and has annual revenues of $330M. Extreme said Enterasys has approximately 900 employees.
