Splunk Buys BugSense
San Francisco-based Splunk said Monday that it has acquired BugSense, a developer of analytics software focused on mobile devices. Financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed. Splunk said it paid cash from its balance sheet for BugSense. BugSense was based in the United Kingdom.
